On January 5, 2018, we held our first focus group, made up of journal editors and representatives from several of the APA committees. Because we were not yet funded by the Mellon Foundation, we were only able to conduct this first focus group owing to the generous sponsorship of the CUNY Graduate Center Library, Michigan State University’s College of Arts and Letters, MIT’s Ford Chair of Philosophy, and Villanova University’s Augustinian Endowed Chair in the Thought of St. Augustine, Office of Diversity and Inclusion, and Office of the Provost.
